Gary “GK” Keith

The Voice, Energy, and Personality of Gen X Outlaws

Gary “GK” Keith brings a wide range of influences to Gen X Outlaws, shaped by a lifelong love of every kind of rock. He can sing pretty, but he would rather scream. His style brings raw energy, personality, and a frontman’s instinct for turning a song into a moment.

How it all started

In 2008, GK found himself in a bar in downtown Clarksburg when the band on stage had a yelling match, the lead singer stormed out, and the bass player announced that unless someone wanted to sing, the night was over.

GK, having just enough liquid courage to make questionable decisions seem reasonable, stepped up and finished the night with them, singing around ten songs. It was unexpected, wild, and exactly the kind of moment that defines GK’s personality.

Built For A Crowd!

From there, GK became a karaoke star, discovering that he was not only comfortable in front of a crowd, but loved it. He eventually built a small business performing karaoke at bars and events, sharpening his stage presence one crowd at a time.

Vocally, Gary describes his sound as somewhere between Rob Thomas and Bruce Springsteen, with a touch of Bon Jovi. That mix gives him the ability to bring grit, melody, and big emotional moments to the Gen X Outlaws sound.

Rock in His Voice, Horsepower in His Blood

Away from the microphone, GK is a serious gearhead and car collector. His love of cars runs deep. In the garage currently has Porsches, Corvettes, BMWs, and a Jeep.

His cars and music have a lot in common: personality, sound, history, and the ability to make people feel something the second they fire up.
